Senior Power BI Consultant - London

A leading MS Partner is seeking a Senior Power BI Consultant with previous consultancy experience to join their team in a period of staggering growth and continued project wins.

The role will involve working in office in Central London and on various client sites based mainly in the greater London area (some further afield and you must be prepared to travel as necessary); with duties including gathering requirements, modelling complex data in SQL and DAX from a range of Data Sources (Primarily MS Azure or migrating from Excel) and visualising the data in Power BI to a high standard. You will also be responsible for delivering insights on the data you visualise.

In addition you'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring more Junior-level consultants on best practice, technical development and client-facing duties. You're expected to have a strong knowledge in client-facing work and understanding their needs and how good Data Visualisation and Insight can help.

Key skills include:

- Power BI Development experience and data visualisation

- Expertise in DAX Coding and Power Query (M)

- Experience in designing more complex visualisations in Power BI (Map visuals, company branding and colour schemes, etc.)

- Passion for Power BI and the benefits of high-end Data Visualisation

- Client-facing or consultancy experience is a must

You will be based around the South East of England, splitting your time between the office, home and client sites (around 2 days a week on site on average, including some overnights).

This is a permanent role, offering a competitive starting salary dependent upon experience (around £65-85,000 for a Senior Consultant), as well as bonus and benefits.
