Big Data Developer / Engineer (Hive Kafka Scala Spark). Leading financial technology company is seeking a skilled Big Data Developer to build and operate a content management platform. You will drive forward a high-profile Greenfield project to provide unprecedented market insight with incredible low latency.

As a Big Data Developer you will create a process to collect frequently-changing data; normalising it, aggregate it and exposing it to clients' systems. You will get involved in all aspects of developing and operating the cluster, from gathering requirements to monitoring the cluster and integrating with the developers who are consuming the data.

Office based in Central London; you'll be joining a highly skilled team that is passionate about technology and believes in continuous learning and development; you'll be working with a great deal of autonomy with quiet space to do your work and little red tape to get through. Requirements:

*Strong Big Data skills including, Hive, Kafka, Scala and Spark

*Excellent communication skills
