Data Analyst

Well established and highly reputable organisation, ideally situated in Birmingham City Centre is looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join their Data & Risk team at their head office.

The Data Analyst will help to establish and maintain a best-practice data management framework within and will contribute to the delivery of high quality data analytics. As a Data Analyst you will collect, process, analyse, visualise and disseminate business critical data. You will ensure data is trusted to provide reliable and relevant insight on the industry and consumers.

Key responsibilities:

*Delivering specified data collection, data quality, data automation, data analysis and data visualisation tasks.

*Development of data management processes and assurance methods, in accordance with the Data Management

*Strategy and relevant policies and processes.

*Supplying data skills support across the company.

*Disseminating products at all levels, internal and external, and communicating complex data analysis to a range of audiences.

*Keeping up-to-date on the latest advances in data management and data analytics and advising on how these may be used to the benefit of stakeholders.

Key skills required:

*Proven data management skills, knowledge and experience and be able to undertake competent data analysis and produce a range of data products.

*Experience of carrying out statistical data analysis of large datasets, identifying trends and patterns of information, recognising and extracting critical factors and interpreting and expressing those factors in a business context in a timely manner.

*Experienced of data analytics and visualisation using VBA, SQL Server, Tableau or PowerBI, and database management / data warehouse software.

*Knowledge and experience of the Office 365 suite.

*Knowledge or experience with CRM software.

*Experience working in ETL (extract, transform and load) operations, data manipulation is also advantageous but not essential.
