Role: COBOL Developer

Length: 6 months initially

Location: Southend-on-Sea

IR35: INSIDE IR35

rate: 300-375 daily

My Southend based client is looking for a COBOL Developer INSIDE SCOPE OF IR35) to join them for a period of 6 months with the following skills;

* Ability to demonstrate applied logical and conceptual thinking.

* Core programming language:

* Extensive demonstrable knowledge of Fujitsu (ICL) VME COBOL, SCL, Application Master, IDMSX (DB), TPMS

Desirable:

* A broad background in IT Development, or an understanding of software development

* The ability to understand complex problems and break them down into their constituent part

* Experience with large Accounting Services.

* Ability to apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes, understand parameters, restrictions and coding synergies.
