The Quant Research and Analytics group of a highly profitable financial institution requires a well-rounded Excel/C# Developer to work closely with the business to produce automated financial documentation production and management applications utilising advanced Excel, C# and SQL (Including SSRS). You will own the development of an integrated Desktop Publishing (DTP) and distribution platform which will create, covert and mass-email White papers, Investment Factsheets, Financial Reports etc, converting from different formats (MS Office Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, HTML etc) from end to end ie Full-stack Development with Excel, C#, SQL Server and associated DTP packages (Publisher etc).

You will need several years of experience with the aforementioned technologies and as you will be working closely with the Equities and Fixed Income Research business then experience of a financial environment would be useful, but ability to learn new concepts is more important.

The team believe in work life balance and stick to normal but flexible hours, Not 10-12 hr days, with some Working From Home and produce systems quickly without copious amounts of needless process. That said, these are well thought out, structured and fully integrated applications that the business need and will rely on. One of the few Financial Research groups in town developing new financial products, new applications and increasing profits year on year.
