Senior Infrastructure Engineer

I am currently working with a rapidly expanding market leader in the financial services market who are looking to add to their existing team with a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out project work, R&D and BAU

* Build, maintain, develop, upgrade and troubleshoot SQL, Citrix, VMWare and storage infrastructure

* Monitor and report on both capacity management and infrastructure performance

* Work to develop the company's existing backup system to ensure the security and integrity of their data

* Identify opportunities for cost saving efficiencies within the company's technology services and infrastructure

Essential technical knowledge and experience:

* Strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems including IIS, DNS, DHCP e.t.c.

* SQL Server, clustering and replication

* Experience working with Citrix

* VMWare vSphere farm architecture and management

* F5 Load Balancers

* Exposure to Avaya IP Telephony

* An understanding of Linux basic administration would put you at an advantage
