Purpose of the role: To assist and assure in the delivery of the Investment Portfolio, ensuring quality, planning, Governance and delivery is of the highest standard. This

role directly supports the Business Change Function in Project Delivery, assures that Governance and standards are being followed and monitors the Portfolio to make

sure accurate and quality Management Information is available to aide decisions and planning.

Support the Change Function in the adoption & embedding of the

Change Methodology, proactively assuring that the process and

quality is adhered to throughout.

? Facilitate the PMO function in maintaining an accurate view of the

status of all Projects, and work with Stakeholders to ensure that it is

kept up to date to enable informed decisions to be made.

? Support an accurate view of the Portfolio investment by ensuring

timesheet compliance across the portfolio, creating and running

reports, interfacing with Finance on reporting actual spend including

PO’s, Project spend and resource costs.

? Support the Director of Enterprise Services, Business Change Senior

Manager, PMO Manager and Project Team as required including

attending meetings, taking actions and following up with completion

of relevant documentation.

? Assist in the delivery of the Portfolio by supporting Project Managers

as required with maintenance of Project documents such as Risk

logs, Project Plans, Lessons Learnt Logs and ensure that estimating

and forecasting follows the Governance process.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

? Prince II, P30, MoP or relevant Project Management qualifications.

? Knowledge of Waterfall methodology.

? Experience in Portfolio, programme and/or Project financial

forecast analysis and reporting.

? Strong at prioritising, planning and excellent analytical skills.

? Attention to detail and the ability to provide feedback and guidance to all

levels of the Business.

? Manages own work with minimal guidance and is independently responsible

for progressing on-going assigned tasks. Able to balance/re-schedule against

priorities with support from PMO Manager.

? Excellent communications, both written & verbal - including excellent report

writing skills and experience.

? Collaborative working style.

? Persuasive, logical, objective & creative.

? Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Project, Word and

PowerPoint
