Cyber Security Engineer London to £70k

Cyber Security Engineer (SIEM ISO 27001 Cisco). Would you like to work on complex and challenging systems as part of a supportive team whilst continually learning and ensuring the security of world class energy trading systems?

As a Cyber Security Engineer you will support and improve an established ISO 27001 accredited ISMS. You'll monitor external information sources for significant emerging threats and recommend tactical steps to counteract these threats; you'll proactively keep up to date with activities in the hacker and fraudster communities and conduct threat analysis. Assessing infrastructure security vulnerabilities you'll improve the hardening of systems in line with best practice and use automated tools and manual processes to detect, analyse and mitigate potential security breaches.

You'll be based in the City in modern, open plan offices with staff kitchen where you can find a host of breakfast goodies and refreshments; smart casual dress code with regular social events.

Requirements:

*Experience with the following: SIEM; incident response and management; forensics; endpoint security; network security; threat intelligence; vulnerability management

*Understanding of ISO 27001

*IT end-to-end problem management and root cause analysis

*Knowledge of some or all of the following technologies: IDS/IPS/HIPS, AV, SIEM, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid7 Nexpose, Metasploit, Kali Suite

*Degree educated, Computer Science or similar technical discipline

*Excellent communication skills

*Nice to have: Information Security certifications such as: CISSP / GIAC / OSCP
