Description:
Responsible for applying schedule management under supervision primarily in non-complex situations and preparing and maintaining integrated schedules of project and/or programme activities and events, taking into account of dependencies and resource requirement.
Principal tasks and responsibilities to include:
* Implement and maintain the Project structures (WBS/OBS/CBS)
* Develop, baseline and maintain the Project integrated schedule
* Ensure alignment between the integrated scheduling toolset and the companies financial and material demand toolset. This includes alignment of any Level 4/5 schedules
* Regular status update of the integrated schedule and the provision of metrics (eg critical path/total float) and schedule analysis of the impact to the project
* Resource/cost loaded schedules to inform the IBP and also to provide financial status of the project
* Attend and successfully complete any appropriate training courses to deliver all of the above
* Demonstrate comprehension of the above against an agreed training plan and competency assessment
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competences
No formal experience is necessary, but any engineering or project based experience would be an advantage.
Aptitude showing a structured, logical and methodical approach to working.
Evidence of a technical/mathematical background.
Qualifications
Min 4 GCSE's or equivalent including mathematics and English including a science or technology subject.
Security
Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements (this may include obtaining security clearance (SC) or developed vetting (DV) level of security clearances)
