Technical Project Manager - 6 month initial contract.
6000 employee, Windows based endpoint project.
Responsibilities
• Ensure project requirements, scope and deliverables have been captured and documented
• Identification and monitoring of project risk (threats and opportunities), planning and implementing of mitigation and/or contingent actions
• Present and deliver regular project status updates and reports
• Research and include best practice to drive the project, influence decisions and direction
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of elevated privileges across operational roles to understand usage and potential impact
• Review and validate analysis output across operational groups
• Identify tool and resource requirements to support a phased removal of local admin privileges
• Coordinate testing and reporting activities
• Build and document supporting processes to minimize business disruption
• Manage transitional change and communications
Skills & Experience
• 5 years of work experience in technical project management
• Experience of PRINCE2 or PMP and ITIL methodologies
• Ability to create and drive plans to delivery by leveraging the input, knowledge, and direction of surrounding teams and subject matter experts
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively
• Proven delivery of IT infrastructure related projects across mid to large size global organizations and complex environments
• Strong technical knowledge from a background in systems administration and infrastructure engineering in the following:
o Active Directory and Group Policy Management
o Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems
o Privilege Access Management
o SCCM
o Linux and MAC experience advantageous
