Graduate Software Tester required to join well established software house and work on a new product. This role would suit a recent graduate with a 2:1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or Physics. You must have excellent communication skills and ideally some coding or software development experience in Java or Python gained in your studies or ideally in a placement year during your degree. Commercial Software Testing experience is not required, but you must be willing to learn the skills and work in a team.

Responsibilities for the Graduate Software Tester role include

      •     Test Script Execution, maintenance, development

      •     Defect Tracking, recording defects in JIRA

      •     Test Automation and coding

      •     Agile Scrum process, working with developers and test colleagues in 2 week sprints

      •     Reporting and Communication - you will be dealing with clients and colleagues across the business.

This Graduate Software Tester will join a small team working on a knowledge sharing product that has been developed for specific clients. The position can offer full product and a level of technical training in manual and automated testing. The Graduate Software Tester will have opportunity to work across the software development lifecycle and within an agile development environment.

Experience / Education - candidates should have as much of the following experience -

- Computer Science / Software Engineering / Physics Degree

- Strong math and analysis skills

- Software Testing Experience, or a willingness to learn

- Windows & Linux OS experience

- Data Management knowledge in SQL
