Our client are a UK leader and emerging global force in the delivery of services to the educational sector. A talented Head of Development is sought to join the organisation at an exciting stage to take a lead role in further building the digital product / software product offerings. With revenues not far short of £100m annually this organisation is looking to support and drive the unit this job holder would play a lead role in.

The successful individual will lead a focused team of 15 in-house professionals (3 direct TL reports) and work closely to forge strong working relationships between digital platforms and their stakeholders, as well as excellent liaison and management of inhouse / offshore teams responsible for the development of the company's bespoke products. You will also be responsible for the heading and strategic development of teams onsite.

This is a diverse, varied and rewarding role for a Head of Development to apply for.

Duties / experience:

*Leadership of software development / SDLC function in this division

*Play a lead role in cultivating for future development

*Team leadership / Technical leadership

*Assist with strategy & company vision

*Excellent onshore and offshore team management

*Scrum / agile software development methods experience helpful

*DevOps methods experience
