The systems administrator will enjoy a varied role of technical and administrative support for the Agresso finance system, managing all day to day support as well as involvement in user training and guidance.

The successful candidate will also have involvement in a wider improvement program and be responsible for suggesting and implementing improvements to systems, controls and procedures within finance.

The role will support the teams' objectives of delivering a professionally managed and controlled finance system that allows greater operational independence, reducing the administrative burden on the central team.

Key Accountabilities:

- First point of contact for all user support

- Manage Agresso helpdesk (all AP, AR, GL support)

- 1st line analysis and triage of support cases

- Analysis of cases and referral to 2nd line (internal, Unit 4) for resolution and for route causals

- Manage all tickets through to resolution (within SLA)

- Maintain Helpdesk reporting (number of cases, resolution vs SLAs)

- Data control and access (incl. starters, leavers, amendments)

- Technical support to Systems Accountant

- Identifying opportunities for streamlining process

- Testing changes and new functionality

- Ad-hoc project work

Behaviours and Knowledge:

- Unit 4 Business World (Agresso) experience essential (ideally Milestone 5)

- 2 years' experience as a system administrator

- Have worked in a fast paced multi company / divisional business

- Experience of working on a help desk

- Experience of setting up new users

- Have worked with Accounts Payables workflow systems

- Proactive desire to get to the cause of problems

- Intermediate MS Excel skills

- Excellent communication skills

Success Measures

- Meeting target SLAs for response and resolution

- Improving the response and resolution time for helpdesk cases

- Driving a significant reduction of helpdesk tickets through identifying underlying issues

- Successful management of monthly / cyclical operational tasks

Contract: 3 months initial

Location: London

Rate: Competitive
