I am currently recruiting for a Data Engineer to work in Liverpool for a new start up, for a 3 month rolling contract. This opportunity will provide exposure to the AWS stack as well as working with big data tools, an outline of the role is below;

- AWS Stack (EC2, S3)

- Exposure to either Hortonworks/Cloudera/EMR Hadoop platforms

- Knowledge of DevOps would be advantageous (terraform in particular)

- Experience on Big data tools such as; Spark, Hive, Impala

- 3 years plus in programming in either Python/Java/Scala

-Data Warehousing/ pipelines design and development
