Role: Lead Cis Engineer

Location: Birmingham Aston/Wellesbourne

Job Description:

* Senior Engineer profile preferred

* Develop data models in accordance to integrated business reporting and data exchange

* Implement data models on the CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization platform, including necessary data transformations and views within the platform

* Perform data profiling on source system data to ensure that source system data can be integrated properly within the CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization platform.

* Maintain and optimize the CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization platform to ensure that its working efficiently

* Assist with data consumers and downstream system developers of the CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization platform to ensure that queries against the platform are designed properly.

* Maintain and monitor the CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization cluster to ensure that its working efficiently

* Knowledge in XQuery, XML, JSON, REST Web Service, PL/SQL, MySQL / MariaDB is required.

* Understand structural requirement of application and tune CISCO / TIBCO Data Virtualization based on requirement.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with remotely located teams and client stakeholders.

* Good ability to effectively understand and communicate about product architectures.

* Knowledge in Google Cloud, Linux, NGINX is an additional advantage.
