Application Support Analyst Telford

My client a world known market leader is looking to hire an experience application support analyst to joint their team based in the centre of Telford. This role is due to expansions and will see you managing the day to day delivery of Applications across the entire estate.

Core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

*Making sure all business application are supported to a high standard and incidents requests and problems are updated and resolved with in the agreed SLA's.

*Conduct the running of the daily checks and standard BAU activities

*Being responsible for 3RD business applications and make sure they are patched in a timely manner.

*Provide on call support for business critical applications.

*Manage live releases to agreed environments for any application requests.

*Seek to automate tasks wherever possible.

The successful candidate will have:

*Excellent communication skills and have first rate written and verbal sills.

*ITL V3 Foundation qualification

*IT related qualifications (MCP / Comp TIA)

*Knowledge of business process and regulatory requirements as well as experience of application support within a large multi site environment.

*Knowledge of Windows, MS SQL and Network architecture.

*Windows, Wintel and PowerShell experience key

*Experience in installing and troubleshooting windows operation systems as well as previous 1st and / or 2ND line support experience

Any experience working with UNIX/ Oracle / BizTalk, HP Exstream Dialogue would also be highly beneficial.
