Senior Developer £45-£48 / Manchester / JavaScript/ Node.js/ React

My Client is on the look out of creative full-stack JavaScript developers to join there strong technical team.

My client's developers are passionate about good software engineering and best-practices.

If enjoy learning about new technologies and are able to think laterally, then this role maybe for you.

My client's developers also have formed a peer to peer relationship, which each developer supports each other on projects, which in turn benefits there clients.

The role

As a Senior Developer you'll be leading a team of developers to deliver a wide range of new and exciting projects.

You'll be comfortable working on large projects using Node.js or, occasionally, PHP MVC

frameworks, but also enjoy working at pace to build prototypes using cutting edge technology.

You'll also be Involved at all stages of a project, from writing responses, attending pitches, to the

initial design of applications, server architecture, prototyping and build stages, through

to documentation and handover, you'll be passionate about writing excellent code and be

a strong advocate for TDD. Most of your time will be spent designing solutions, writing code,

mentoring and overseeing projects.

Skills

Good experience writing software using

- Node.js with Express, JavaScript frameworks, React and Redux

Also a good understanding of databases design using SQL and NoSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.

You will also have experience in architecting hosting infrastructures within an AWS environment.

Also good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss our solutions with client's technical teams and to produce clear technical documentation

Also:

Skills in PHP Laravel, Symfony, Wordpress and Drupal would be an advantage, but is not essential.
