I'm currently working with a rapidly expanding engineering business in Sheffield which is now looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to its current engineering team. Despite the role being based in Sheffield, this is a home working opportunity!

You will only be required to go to the office 1-2 days per month, so if you have a home set up, this is the role for you!

The essential required skills are:

* 6 years' experience in relevant fields developing electronics hardware.

* Strong background in analogue electronics design.

* Strong background in digital electronics design.

* Schematic capture and PCB layout skills are essential.

* Proficient with EDA Software.

* Ability to prototype and build circuitry using SMD components.

* Experience with version control software (TortoiseSVN, Git).

Advantageous skills/experience:

* Experience with Firmware.

* Experience of using Proteus Design Suite.
