3PAR Storage Consultant x 2

2 x 3PAR Storage Consultants are required to work in contract with a major organisation in Gloucestershire

Project description:Storage Migration Consultancy

Provide support on a T&M basis to the customer for deployment of new 3PAR arrays, and also migration from legacy storage arrays to new 3PAR arrays.

Role:

Work with Customer to provide technical consultancy to support the deployment of the new 3PAR arrays, including:-

- Creation of any required design documentation

- Creation of test specifications

- Configuration of the new 3PAR arrays

- Execution of the acceptance tests

- Handover to Customer

Work with Customer to provide technical consultancy to support the migration of services to the new 3PAR arrays, including:

- Analyse the current environment and identify remediation requirements

- Design of the migration procedures to be used

- Prepare the environment for migration

- Testing of the migration procedures on Customer's existing 3PAR test arrays

- Update the migration procedure documentation as required

- Knowledge transfer

- Support Customer as required during the data migration activities

Required Skills:

- Experience of data migration projects
