Accelerator Programme Manager

Ordnance Survey has an opportunity available for an Accelerator Programme Manager to join the team based at our Innovation Hub in London. About the role:

We are looking for an Accelerator Programme Manager who shares our passion for startups, problem solving, innovation and teamwork. This is the perfect position for some who wants to help startups launch and grow their business; connecting them with the resources, people and partners that can contribute to their success.

You’ll manage the successful delivery of Geovation’s Accelerator Programme and act as day to day point of contact for participating companies. You’ll schedule workshops with our existing mentors and content providers and help us extend the network of contacts and partners supporting the Accelerator Programme delivery.

Working alongside your colleagues, you will develop marketing content to attract quality applications, award grant funding based on agreed milestones and set up software development agreements to help teams build their initial products.

The Accelerator Programme Manager will have their finger on the pulse of the tech startup and venture capital community and keep up-to-date with the latest challenges and opportunities in location-data services and innovation. You’ll represent Geovation at networking events and meetups and proactively engage with the extended Geovation community in person and on social media.

Skills and experience required to be our Accelerator Programme Manager:

You will have a proven track record delivering startup support activities, workshops or other content programmes. You’ll be confident preparing written collateral and in providing qualitative and quantitative reports and analysis as required.

You must demonstrate your track record against the following essential criteria and competencies in your application:

- Experience in running or supporting innovation programmes

- Able to work independently

- Organized and detail oriented while not losing sight of the bigger picture

- Collaborative and positive attitude

- Strong coordinating skills

- Creativity in getting things done

- Understanding of startup tools and methodologies

- Excellent communication skills, with technical and non-technical people
