Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to work as part of their Network based in Torquay. You will be responsible for implementing, operating and maintaining a wide range of network and security systems on behalf of the client. The role will provide support and actively contributing to the implementation of business applications. This will include the delivery of multiple tasks with varying technologies in an exciting environment with exposure to a wide range of emerging technologies. You will operate and support all networking and related infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience as a Network Engineer in an end-to-end IT service provision, experience providing technical 2nd and 3rd line support , experience of Administering server and desktop operating systems; Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012, Linux, Operation of an effective back-up service; ideally using Yosemite or Veea, Installation and configuration of server and desktop hardware. Cloud, SaaS / LaaS/ PaaS including, but not limited to, AWS and Azure is all a plus!. You will need to have excellent trouble shooting skills and be able to analyse problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery.
