IT Security Compliance Administrator

Our client is looking for an IT Security Compliance Administrator to act as a contact point for IT security controls within the organisation, interfacing with the departmental leads, product managers, and customers. Duties include:

* Maintain security records and monitor systems as appropriate. Provide control reports for Senior Management review.

* Conduct or oversee periodic risk analysis and assessments and review solutions in place to mitigate those risks.

* Support the implementation of policies, standards, & guidelines needed to support information security compliance throughout the organisation. Periodically review policies and make recommendations for improvements

* Ensure adequate and effective IT controls exist to meet current security compliance requirements.

* Ensure compliance and conformance on ISO27001 and, generally, on information risk analysis/management.

* Support external (Clients) and internal security audits, providing a proactive maintenance of controls to ensure client confidence.

* Provide advice and take action, where necessary, in response to audit findings and recommendations in respect of information security

* Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, ensuring that these are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations, including reviewing policies on a regular basis

* To represent the companies from a controls standpoint during 3rd party audits and reviews

The right candidate will have experience in an Audit/Compliance role in a technical environment, a good knowledge of ISO27001A and regulations - GDPR, DPA. They will have a relevant audit/compliance qualification or be working towards one with an inquisitive nature, high attention to detail and a capability to distil information and identify the underlying key factors.
