£30,000 - £40,000 + Pension + holiday

Excellent opportunity for a technical manager or product development manager to join a company that will offer you an autonomous role where you will play a key part in this companies growth and development.

Due to the increasing success and expansion of the company, they are now looking to take on a Product Development / Technical Manager to report directly to the Managing Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for focussing on the development of the technical side of the products.

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in electrical engineering, experience of developing new and existing products and project management experience.

This is a great role for a technical manager to join a company that offers a role with excellent progression, variety and technical challenge.

The role:

*Shape the product development program and identify opportunities to develop and enhance existing products and bring new products to market.

*Manage and direct the CAD focused Design Engineer.

*Identify and develop novel and innovative solutions as technology advances.

*Ensure that the products meet the regulatory requirements of British & European standards.

*Warranty solutions and elimination.

*Direct communication with Customers and Service Engineers.

*Preparation of Technical Files and ensure relevance of Technical Bulletins, Operation and Manufacturing Manuals.

*Act as the point of technical excellence for staff and customers.

The person:

*A min HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.

*An interest in Mechanical Engineering (CAD).

*Experience developing new and existing products (highly regulated products).

*Previous management or supervisory experience.
