Data Migration Consultant (Remote-Working)

Experis are currently recruiting on behalf of a global data intelligence organisation to a great opportunity to join them as a Data Migration Consultant.

You will be responsible for developing the conversion strategy for assigned projects to transfer data from legacy systems or pre-existing databases.

Please note that this role allows for remote/home working, but will require flexibility and willingness to travel when visits to client sites are required.

Typical responsibilities will include reviewing and documenting client conversion requirements, facilitating, conducting and documenting data discovery & data mapping sessions, and attending conversion related meetings to provide expertise in determining the appropriate conversion strategy.

We are looking for candidates with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL server & proven experience in developing TSQL/SQL queries. You will be an efficient self-starter with excellent communication skills, as you will often be the sole representative of the business when participating in client meetings.
