Senior Build Manager

International Bank

Up to £575 / day

Central London / The City

As a preferred and trusted PSL recruitment partner to this global banking group for 6+ years we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Contract Build Manager to work across software build, configuration, release and environment management. The role will focus heavily on systems automation and so strong knowledge in PowerShell automation scripts PowerShell will be highly desirable. Knowledge of software build and configuration within a financial services or banking environment will also be beneficial.

Key skills / Environment:

Build Manager

Software Build Management - Integration build, build definition

Environment Management - configuration of software / hardware for systems integration

Ensuring software modules meet required criteria from source code for the build

Working closely with development, testing, analysis and release teams

Review of non-production testing environments

Environment Design and policy control - governance, strategy and compliance

Design and development of automation systems for build and environment management

Technical requirements:

Build and software configuration management

Environment Management

PowerShell scripting - automation scripting

Docker / Container - DevOps

Subversion - version control

Jenkins

Database technologies

.Net, SLQ, Cognos

An understanding of Banking / Financial services systems development will be highly desirable.
