Network Specialist - Derry - 3 Month Contract

My client, a large technology company are looking for a number of Network Specialists to join them in Derry on initial 3 month contracts. The roles can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are keen to get people on site as soon as possible.

Role Background:

* This role is for a number of Network specialists to provide ongoing support for one of my clients more demanding customers.

* The role will involve resolving Network queries and issues at 1st/2nd line level and escalating up the line where necessary.

* The role holder also delivers medium complexity work packages as part of customer implementation projects and has the ability to understand complex situations and activities, also being able to communicate basic technical information to non-technical people.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should ideally have prior experience of a helpdesk/service desk environment, ideally working on a high volume of calls and issues.

* Candidates should be well versed with a range of Networking tools and technologies including Cisco, Juniper and Checkpoint.

* The successful candidate should also be able to work well as an individual and as part of a wider team.

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to going on site.
