Job Title: 2nd / 3rd line Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Riverside, Lowestoft

Salary: £27,358 - £34,106 pa

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Are you passionate about ICT and looking for a new challenge?

If so, the council currently have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their ICT team based in Lowestoft.

Your role will be to provide development and specialist technical support of the core ICT infrastructure, ensuring it performs efficiently across the council. You will manage all routine and operational works, lead on ICT technical work streams from projects and provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support including investigation and analysis. You will also identify and implement service improvements to reduce risk of ICT disruptions.

You will have an HND in Computing (or equivalent) and have experience in design, implementation, security and operation of industry standard servers, storage and networking technologies. A strong technical experience of Microsoft technology, Citrix and network operations will be essential, as is effective diagnostic, fault finding and monitoring skills.
