Business Support Analyst/Finance Analyst / Financial Modelling / Graphical Representation / Microsoft / Excel

Role: Business Support Analyst/Finance Analyst

Location: Cambridge, Shepreth

FTC ( 6 Months ): £22,000 - £24,000 pm

The Role:

Provides analysis to the MD and senior management team, identifying opportunities for improvement in profitability of products and the performance of the business as a whole.

Requirements:

*Financial Modelling & Graphical representation

*Strong analytical skills

*High level of accuracy

*Effective communication and interpersonal skills

*Team worker, also able to recognise the importance of tact and discretion

*Competent in use of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills

*Problem solving

*Strategic thinking

*Flexible and proactive approach

*Willingness to accept additional responsibilities

*Effective personal organisation and time management

Main Duties and Outcomes

Work with the business to identify business functional requirements

Provide analysis on product life cycle and sales performance

Provide analysis of customer and market performance

Identify opportunities for product profitability improvements

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant products and services

Support managers on creating and implementing improvement plans

To work with managers to create, generate and report on comprehensive suite and KPIS for the whole business

To monitor and report to the business on key economic indicators such as currency, inflation and pension valuation measures

Ad-hoc reporting, queries, development work, projects etc. as required to address requirements of the business
