Product Manager - Smart Energy

My client is a hidden secret in the rapidly emerging Smart Energy / Smart Home space! They are seeking a Product Manager, from a high-tech industry, to join their growing Cambridge office. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning the product roadmap and positioning the product within the IOT landscape.

Requirements:

· Relevant degree, or equivalent, in Computer Sciences or Electronics.

· Previous Product ownership experience; including competitive analysis and product positioning.

· Solid technical knowledge from the high-tech space (e.g. semiconductors, software, electronics, IOT, etc.)

· An understanding of the smart energy or smart home market would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

· Take ownership of the product line and become the bridge between engineering, sales and the customer.

· Gather market requirements and competitor analysis and use this information to position the products effectively in the market.

· Become a product champion and maintain detailed knowledge of the products functionality.

· Create and maintain product roadmaps; looking at delivery, support requirements etc.
