We have an opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, on site with a multi-national technology company based in Osterley, West London. Role Purpose:

The overall objective of the role is to:

Manage effectively the end to end delivery of a portfolio of projects and associated material within the Content Supply Chain Programme.

* Ensuring accuracy of all roadmaps and the currency of that information as they relate to the CSC Programme

* Ensure all Financial aspects of managing the Programme are in place and currency of the information

* Ensure all Programme dependencies, risks, issues and changes are tracked and managed effectively

* Act as the central point for the Programme for all external Programme requests and represent the Programme at any appropriate meetings

* Own the end to end delivery of Programme of work across and external to the programmes as required

* Senior up to 'C Level' stakeholder management as required.

* Work with the associated teams to deliver their software and services, own risks and resolve issues as appropriate.

The role of the Project Manager / Programme Manager is to act as the focal point for all programme related activities within the CSC Programme.

The activities of work managed will support the department in achieving

* Continuous deployment from development to production

* Stability meeting concurrency and availability KPIs 99.995%

* Security

* Capital and Operational efficiency

* Developing group wide capabilities

* All activities will have a medium/large size budget with a high complexity in scope and stakeholder management. These activities are to be managed in a clear, controlled and organised fashion ensuring effective delivery of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

To manage the designated activities through all relevant stages of the project lifecycle from project initiation through to project closure and review where appropriate. This will include some or all of the following depending upon the nature, size and composition of the programme:-

* To produce and communicate clear progress reports for all projects and services being delivered within their projects

* To produce (or in some cases assist in the production of) all required project documentation e.g. Work Intake Requests, Cost Estimates, Business Cases, Project Briefs, Project Plans, CAPEX / OPEX Forecasts, Exception Reports, Change Requests, Project Closure Reports etc.

* To manage project risk and issues and escalate as appropriate in a timely fashion.

* To contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures governing Projects.

* To assess and monitor project resource demands to identify all areas where resource issues may exist and address them with the relevant stakeholders.

* Regularly to communicate an overview of the key aspects of the project plan to all other areas of the business, highlighting any implications for those areas

* To advise and influence internal / external parties at senior management level through structured communication and use of effective influencing skills.

* To ensure that contracts and negotiations with both internal and external suppliers are always aimed at meeting the business needs by providing a value for money service in terms of standards, quality, efficiency, safety, performance and cost effectiveness.

* To be accountable for managing the quality of service provided by the department to the Business Unit customers.

* Forecast and set budget requirements for Projects and ensure effective utilisation of available resources within budget provision.

* To monitor and anticipate workloads on a continuous basis and provide transparency of costs to business areas such that the full impact of new requirements or initiatives can be fully understood and assessed.

* To prepare and maintain Project resource plans, and to review these plans to identify opportunities for greater effectiveness or efficiency.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Project Management and associated methods and tools.

* Governance - Quality, Budget, Timescales.

* In-depth knowledge of full systems lifecycle.

* Broad Technical knowledge and detailed experience in medium to large scale Infrastructure Projects

* Broad business knowledge including commercial, financial awareness.

* Significant project management experience (5 years) on medium/large scale or complex).

* Relevant experience in a fast paced industry where IT operates as a strategic partner.

* Demonstrable relevant experience of operating in a systems development environment, including direct experience in such a role.

* Demonstrable relevant experience of delivering Projects/Workstreams into a wider Strategic Programme.

* Significant experience of delivering IT projects through others and without direct control.

* Previous experience of customer and supplier relationship management relevant to IT, particularly including management of negotiations.

* Ideally worked within the Broadcast/OTT sector. - DESIRABLE

* Worked in an Agile development environment - DESIRABLE
