Change Portfolio Manager - Government - London - 6 months+

This role is deemed inside IR35

There is an urgent requirement within a Law Enforcement organisation for a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead the co-ordination of the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the portfolio and lead and advise on the continuing development of a portfolio in the early stages of maturity. Implement effective portfolio management throughout the portfolio delivery cycle.

Essential

Good understanding of project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques including: requirements management, planning, scheduling, resource management, risk and issue management, quality management, business change and implementation, governance, stakeholder engagement, assurance, business case development and benefits management.

Good understanding of the process to gain financial approval for project costs and ability to work with commercial and financial colleagues to monitor spend against contracts.

Good understanding of information management.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

Industry-recognised qualification:

*Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner.

*Managing Portfolios Practitioner

*Management of Risk Practitioner

*PRINCE2 Practitioner

*Managing Successful Programmes Advanced Practitioner

*APM Registered Project Professional

*Project Leadership Programme

SC enhanced clearance will be required in order to start in this position
