Quantity Surveyor

Caterham, Surrey.

£45,000 - £60,000 plus package DOE

We are excited to be working with a long standing contractor based in Surrey to source an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work within their traditional contracting team. The role will be a great split between site and office working and the successful Quantity Surveyor will enjoy the benefits of working for a real people company!

The role and projects:

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working within an established commercial team to deliver a number of new build and refurbishment schemes across a number of sectors including:

* Commercial

* Education

* Heritage

* Sport & Leisure

* Healthcare

As the Quantity Surveyor your time will be split between the office and the sites - due to a heavy workload they have numerous live sites at any one time. The sites are across Surrey, South London, Kent and Sussex predominantly so as long as you are within an hour of Caterham, they will have a project suitable for you to get stuck into.

Desired experience for the Quantity Surveyor:

* Minimum 3 years Quantity Surveying experience

* Must have refurbishment experience

* New build experience would also be beneficial

* Previous experience working for main contractors is essential.

* Due to the split it is imperative that you are based within 1 hours travel of Caterham.

Qualities were looking for in a Quantity Surveyor:

* Team player

* Proactive

* Committed and driven

* Strong skills of communication, both written and verbal.

This role is open to anyone candidate from Intermediate Quantity Surveyor up to experience Project Quantity Surveyor so the remuneration will depend on experience but roughly £45,000 - £60,000 as a guideline
