Infrastructure Engineer - 6 month fixed term contract (£48k pro-rata, Immediate Start). Leading UK technology services provider that specialise in finance markets is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer for a six month fixed term contract (likely to extend).

As an Infrastructure Engineer your role will be split between projects based work and BAU 3rd line support in line with ITIL incident, Problem and Change processes; you'll be dealing with escalations from 1st / 2nd line service desk teams and leading the initial technical response and triage of major incidents. Much of your work will focus on Virtualisation (Citrix / VMWare / XenDesktop); you'll have the opportunity and support to become a virtualisation expert.

Requirements:

*Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer

*Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows technology stack including Active Directory, Desktop, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange

*Virtualisation experience with Citrix and / or VMWare / XenDesktop

*Excellent communication skills and client facing ability
