I am currently looking for a network engineer for an exciting opportunity in East London, to join a rapidly growing cyber security consultancy.

As part of team consisting on network and firewall engineers you will be designing and implementing secure network solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Interpretation and validating designs working with customers

* Populating configuration templates; building change, testing scripts and deployment run books based on design, configuration and deployment of routers, switches and firewalls.

* Supporting senior engineers and consultants on larger projects.

* Developing skills network and firewall design

* Working on small projects through the full project Lifecyle

* Opportunity to become a SME on new products and solutions

You will have

* Proven experience working in a Network Operations/Support role

* Customer-facing with good documentation and communication skills.

* Understand ITIL processes and structured ways of working.

* Willingness to share information, improve documentation and solutions.

* Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours working.

Your technology skills will include some of the following:

* Solid Cisco switch and routing experience

* Cisco ASA, FirePOWER, CheckPoint and/or Palo Alto firewalls.

* Cisco & Meraki Wi-Fi.

* Forescout and/or Cisco ISE NACs.

* SolarWinds network monitoring.

Academic and professional qualifications:

* Cisco CCNA (essential)

* CCNP R&S certification (desirable).

* Cisco CCNA Security; Checkpoint SA or Palo Alto ACE (desirable but not essential)
