Senior IT Risk Developer - Up to £60,000 plus banking bonus and excellent benefits

As an established and well regarded PSL partner to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Risk Developer who specalises in the development, maintenance and support of Market Risk and Credit Risk applications.

You will report into the Head of IT Risk to ensure the bank's Risk Management department are reaching their goals. This role will see you working with .Net, C#. T-SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic, JQuery and ideally COGNOS. We are looking for developers who are open to a hybrid Project and BAU workload and working in an application support function as well.

Skills / Environment

IT Risk Development - Market Risk and / or Credit Risk

Systems / Application development in - ASP.Net, MVC, C#, Visual Basic ( VB )

T-SQL queries / data extraction

SQL Server - scripting / package changes

Bug fixing in VBA - Excel and Access

Ideally hands data experience in COGNOS frame work manager / COGNOS workspace advanced

Risk Knowledge

We are ideally looking for individuals who have a strong hand on understanding of Market and Credit risk, from both the business function and IT systems perspectives. This role will see you working alongside Risk Managers and analysts and so you will need to be able to understand the business requirements as well as technical development. VaR - Value at Risk, MaR, - Management of Risk, Risk Management Systems, Credit Risk, Market Risk

Due to the requirements for Market and Credit Risk, we are looking for previous experience working in the banking / financial services sector.

Salary: up to £60,000
