Technical Architect - Global Microsoft Gold Partner (SCCM, Azure AD)

We are looking for a Modern Devices Technical Architect with technical, commercial and pre-sales experience. Previous experience in designing a system centre infrastructure to support large-scale desktop transformation projects is required. The individual will need to be the authoritative advisor on technical and delivery matters, share knowledge and have good mentoring skills. They will be a trusted advisor to our Customers and will:

+ Manage multiple client engagements across several clients working with solutions architects to ensure quality control, high standards and customer satisfaction

+ Participate in pre-sales discussions, on site customer workshops and will participate in or manage implementation resources delivering design work carried out by the solutions architects

+ Have excellent communication skills with customers and a strong sense of commercial awareness and has good successful experience of being able to produce high quality and well scoped proposals and Statements of Work

+ Act as a technical escalation point for the Solutions Architects, project managers, internal resourcing teams and customers

+ Work on the ground with customers and be able to technically deliver projects alone or alongside other Solutions Architects or Technical Architects

Technical Architect Essential Experience:

+ Comprehensive understanding of budgets, margin analysis and profitability

+ Ability to work effectively as part of a team, leading and contributing to team discussions

+ Be regarded as an "expert" and acts as a mentor/coach to others

+ Inspires, influences and motivates individuals and teams across the organisation. Effectively manages change within and across own department

+ Continually looking for opportunities to provide New Signature with competitive and commercial advantage

+ Ability to analyse business performance data and effectively determines the key issues on which to focus for the department

Required knowledge of architectures and designs in the following:

+ Microsoft Windows (All recent versions)

+ Microsoft Office (All recent versions)

+ Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (All recent versions)

+ User State Migration Tool

+ Microsoft App-V and Sequencing

+ MBAM

+ Group Policies and Login Scripts

+ System Centre Virtual Machine Manager

+ Microsoft RDS and VDI

+ Application Discovery and Packaging Toolsets

+ Auto Pilot

Skills in the following are desirable:

+ Citrix XenApp and Xen Desktop

+ Office 365
