Performance & Operational Engineer- 6 Months- Swindon.

Role Description:

* Assess solutions for performance risks and their likely impact. Suggest mitigation's for those risks and prioritise which risks to address first.

* Review Non-Functional Requirements and highlight potential gaps and issues.

* Create performance models that can estimate the response times, the throughput and the capacity of a system.

* Manage stakeholder's expectations around system performance. Communicate where systems may not meet expectations and highlight the importance of addressing risks.

* Provide clear performance test success criteria. Suggest specific testing that will mitigate risks.

Required Skills -

* Performance SME

* The role is with in the NEMDC maturity, IIP product specialist; experienced in performance tuning IIB Config

Tools / Technologies Required

Required:

* Performance engineering

Ideally:

* Java

* IIB v10

Desirable skills and experience

Previous systems engineering experience

* Delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall

* Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and VBA

* The ability to translate technical details for a business minded audience.

Previous data analysis experience including statistical data analysis.
