About The Identity and Access Management Team

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team operates within our Technology Security Programme team. The team is made up of Product Managers and Engineers working out of the UK and India who are working to deploy a new IAM product across the Tesco group, covering all aspects of managing access from joiners, movers and leavers to entitlement reviews and access requests.

This team works across all areas of the business, from application owners and HR teams to service desks, in order to develop a new solution at pace which will enable Tesco to step change its capability in managing access whilst reducing operational cost.

Main Responsibilities

Lead Product Manager - Identity and Access Management

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities and measures:

* Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand current Identity Lifecycle (joiners, leavers) processes across our business units and propose/implement new automated processes working alongside them.

* Working closely with the engineering team, define requirements & acceptance criteria for new Identity Lifecycle processes to ensure quality of development

* Develop and own plans to pilot & rollout new processes, working with affected stakeholders across our business units.

* Support development of standards for new applications access management design.

* Develop a roles based access control (RBAC) model & process for onboarding business units to RBAC to ensure the efficiency of access control.

* Define and execute product strategy aligned to the above outcomes

* Define and track performance against customer and business KPIs

* Manages the roadmap and development plan

* Coordinate with other Technology teams (for example Active Directory) where required to deliver roadmap items.

* Ensures understanding and communication of requirements throughout project

* Removes impediments and ensures that the right product is delivered

* Help others across the organization

Ideal Candidate

Key Skills and Experience

You'll need to have demonstrated experience of:

* Working as part of an Identity and Access Management implementation project within a complex business environment, preferably with a global scope.

* Experience designing business processes- Lean Six Sigma a plus.

* Experience of large scale process change & training of impacted colleagues.

* Articulating a complex product strategy in terms of risk reduction and business value.

* Experience and understanding of agile techniques to deliver change quickly at a global scale.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.

* The ability to influence without authority.

* Bachelors degree or demonstrable experience required advanced degree a plus.

* Able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership

* Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
