Head of Digital Development - South Manchester - Financial Services - £75k-£80k

A leading Financial Services Organisation servicing both direct customers and providing technical services for other financial clients.

The organisation has major ambitions to grow over the next 5 years and this role will be key in ensuring this success.

Role

We require an experienced Head of Development to manage a growing team comprising digital developers and technical analysts. Reporting into the IT Systems Director you will help implement and drive the digital strategy for the group. You will hold all line management responsibilities for the development teams including mentoring, 1 to 1's and appraisals.

You will be responsible for driving appropriate development methodologies for best of breed approaches including continuous delivery and agile.

The organisation works primarily with Microsoft technology stack including MS.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Google Analytics. You will have a breadth of knowledge covering web technologies and their practical uses including HTML, XML, CSS, IIS.

Key skills and experience

* Ability to manage large technical teams within an enterprise environment

* Breadth of knowledge covering best of breed technologies and development methodologies in use within a digital environment
