£25,000 - £27,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Bonus

Are you looking for a role where you will deal directly with client and come up with their initial designs for bespoke products?

This company designs and manufactures a wide variety of products for a range of industries worldwide. With manufacturing plants both here and abroad, they are enjoying consistent levels of growth and now require an applications engineer to join the team in a pivotal role.

In this role you will be dealing directly with clients. You will understand the needed requirements and then use CAD packages to come up with the initial designs, quotes and liaise closely with production teams so that the products can be made.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has dealt with clients and has knowledge of CAD packages such as Inventor or Solidworks. Anyone who has worked with sheet metal or fabrication environments before will be highly sought after.

The Role:

*Dealing directly with clients

*Understanding the initial requirements

*CAD design using a variety of packages

*Producing the estimates and quotations

The Person:

*CAD Design

*Inventor, Solidworks or NC Programming

*Worked directly with customers

*Ideally worked with sheet metal or fabricated products
