Python Developer

6-12 month contract

City of London

Up to £400-700 per day (Depending on experience levels)

Pearson Frank are currently working in partnership with a Consultancy who are searching for a number of Python Developers for initial 6 month contracts with likely extensions and an immediate start.

For more specific project information we are happy to set up a call with the client as certain elements of the project cannot be disclosed in this description.

Required Skills:

Strong Python skills with extensive experience

Knowledge of Python Standard Library - exceptions, logging, arguments, iterators, generators, etc

Familiar with packages such as Numpy/pandas

Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design

Good understaning of how code should be structured - modules, packages, unit tests etc

Strong written & verbal communication skills

Able to work as part of small team & autonomously

Familiar with agile based approach to requirements & design

Good-to-have:

Ideally Investment Bank/Financial Market Expertise

Knowledge of TeamCity/Jenkins

Experience using PySpark
