Software Lead & Scrum Master

Long Term Contract

Covent Garden

£650-£750 per day

Pearson Frank are currently working alongside a huge COnsultancy who are working with a client in the Energy Sector. They have been struggling to find the right candidate on a permanent basis so are opening this up to the Contract Market. This has the opportunity to be a really long term position and offers long term opportunity rarely seen in the Contract Market.

The role requires hands on development and management as well as the desired candidate being a Scrum Master, we appreciate we are asking a lot but are prepared to pay the right daily rate to secure the right candidate;

* Significant experience of developing robust, scalable server side using Java.

* Solid previous experience as a Scrum master

* Python / Node JS veterans are also welcome

* Strong architecture and software infrastructure development skills.

* Good understanding of restful services, authentication and security.

* Experience in designing large scale distributed systems.

* Experience in redesigning large monolith systems into micro services.

* Experience in debugging complex large scale distributed systems running in production

Desireable experience:

* Experience with Amazon AWS cloud infrastructures - Kinessis, Elasticache, Presto/Athena, SNS, SQS

* Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and migrating between AWS/Azure/Google.

* Experience with low level CLR Performance

* Client side experience with the following technologies - React , Redux, Javascript, JQuery

* Experience working with data scientists / Machine learning

* Experience in start-up companies and agile teams
