We have an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Service Transition Manager / Analyst or an experienced Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager who would like to consider a role in Service Transition.

The business are a large global organisation with the capability to deliver large projects / managed services contracts in to some of the UK’s largest and most prestigious clients. However they also have the agility of a "mid-size" organisation, without having to fight through continual red tape to get things done.

An IT Managed Services Provider, they provide their clients with a full outsourced solution, supported by a team of technical, operational and service specialists to ensure best value at all times through the sales, on boarding, implementation & post sales processes.

The Role:

                                                                                           Manage key activities during Contract Due Diligence & Joint Verification to ensure that issues that would have a detrimental financial impact or would prevent provision of service to the customer are avoided, specifically;

o Verification of the Service Design, with the customer and service supplier teams

o Contract due diligence planning, initiation & management

o Confirm & understand the service transition scope

                                                                                           Manage the Service Transition process to ensure new services go live with minimal impact to the customer & Ricoh specifically;

o Service Transition planning, initiation & management

o The on-boarding of services into service operations

o Production of service schedules

o Production all relevant transition documentation

o Conduct training sessions for operations

o Risk identification

o Communication with all transition stakeholders

                                                                                           Develop key deliverables during Transition to facilitate Transformation & Continual Service Improvement to develop services to the contracted levels in a smooth and rapid manner, specifically;

o Early Life Support plans

o Continual Service Improvement Plans for identified actions not completed during the service transition project

o Continual Service Improvement handover to Service Delivery Management

o Design and transition of internal service management processes

The Ideal Candidate:

This role comprises client-facing engagements; interpreting and defining client requirements; producing service schedules & transition plans for existing and new Managed Services; supporting due diligence and service on-boarding activities. As such, you must possess:

                                                                                           Extensive IT Managed Service Provider Outsource knowledge operating within the ITIL frameworks and ISO/IEC standards

                                                                                           Have Strong experience of transitioning IT services in an outsourcing environment within ITIL frameworks and have an excellent understanding of service methodologies and approaches; preferably with some previous operational experience.

                                                                                           Excellent verbal, written communication and presentations skills together with the ability to deliver customer presentations are essential

                                                                                           -Strong negotiation skills and an ability to define the precise nature of customer requirements

                                                                                           Capable of organising and prioritising work in an effective manner whilst working unsupervised to agreed timescales

                                                                                           Ability to develop good working relationships with customers and internal teams within pressurised environments

                                                                                           ITIL Foundation & Service Transition Lifecycle certification (beneficial)

                                                                                           Prince 2 foundation & Practitioner certificate (beneficial)
