Start-up software house that is disrupting the business telephony market is skilled IP Telephony Engineer. You'll join a team responsible for working on assigned projects to upgrade or add new functionality to the existing infrastructure; BAU activities - automating wherever possible; contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring more junior team members.

This start-up company is already experiencing great success, is well backed and has aggressive growth plans. You'll be supported and encouraged to develop your skills in a collaborative team environment and actively contribute to the open source community.

Based in Basingstoke, with parking available, you will be working in spacious offices with various breakout areas and can enjoy an excellent work / life balance (with some flexible working opportunities).

Requirements:

*Excellent IP networking skills with a detailed knowledge of SIP telephony technology, protocols and signalling call flows

*Strong knowledge of network analysers, ideally Wireshark

*Familiar with Open Source solutions for SIP based telephony

*Good knowledge of WAN IP connectivity products and solutions

*Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients
