Network Support Engineer (3 Month FTC)  

Westminster, London  

Up to £350 per day

The organization has moved from outsourced to in-house infrastructure support and, as such, are looking for a Network Support Engineer to join them on a three month fixed-term contract.  

   

As a Network Support Engineer, you will:  

   

- Monitor, maintain and improve the network infrastructure covering three sites  

- Troubleshoot issues as they arise  

- Work with the rest of the IT Support team to assist with project initiatives  

- Liaise with third-party suppliers for voice and data networking  

- Identify ways to improve the status quo  

   

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:  

- Experience of maintaining and improving the network estate within a multisite environment 

- Experience of being the SME and point of technical escalation within the IT team 

Experience of administering, configuring and supporting the following key areas is also key:  

- Network security  

- DNS and DHCP  

- Windows networking and file sharing  

- Cloud Platforms  

   

Our client is eager to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Network Support Engineer, Infrastructure Support Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Service Desk Engineer or IT Support Engineer.  

It would be great if you had an IT industry qualification, such as an MCP, MCSA, CCNA or VCP, but this isn’t essential.
