An exciting opportunity has become available for a Motor Control Research Engineer to join an established organisation in the beautiful County of Surrey. The Motor Control Research Engineer will be joining a team responsible for the research of a brand new technology orientated to Motor control.
The main responsibilities of the Motor Control Research Engineer will be to innovate, design, test and analyse to maintain that their technology is the best in the market place. Other aspects of the role include; devise and evaluate control algorithms and methods including PWM strategies, senseless strategies and power device driving as well as Simulink and Matlab models of the motor control systems.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a proven background in the following:
- PWM strategies.
- C programming.
- VHDL programming
- Inverters for electric motors.
- Control algorithms for permanent magnet motors.
