Content Management Specialist

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Content Management Specialist for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £350-400/day (outside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct on-page and technical Search Engine Optimisation analysis to find opportunities for performance improvements.

* Work with Subject Matter Experts to re-structure existing information on the website.

* Work with stakeholders on finding the best way to source accurate information and agree the forma structure and maintenance going forward.

* Work with BAs and focus groups on creating the new page flows.

* Create and implement a content strategy to capture customers at all stages of their awareness, consideration and application journey.

* Conduct on-page and technical SEO analysis to find opportunities for performance improvements.

* Implement SEO strategies by analysing keyword research to inform data-driven content marketing strategies and website architecture development.

* Analysing organic traffic reports on a weekly basis in order to identify any fluctuations in website rankings.

Requirements:

* Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO.

* Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices.

* Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically , and identify and resolve problems.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to work within a team and independently - self manage and priortise/ identify.

* Familiarization Google analytics.

* Experience with website optimization tools.

* Have excellent technical, on-page and linking strategy knowledge and skills.

* Have excellent knowledge of the market.

* Be able to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies.

* Be able to assess the performance of SEO activity using analytics.
