Business Change Manager - Finance Systems (Contract)

Westminster, London

Are you a transformation or change professional with experience of the bid or tender process? Want to take on an exciting and ambitious project that will revolutionise the way a leading organisation operates? If so, read on.

About the Organisation

With over 120,000 members in 140 countries, our client has been at the heart of the mechanical engineering profession since 1847.

They strive to improve the world through engineering by developing engineers, promoting engineering, informing opinion and encouraging innovation.

Currently, their group uses four separate systems to manage their finances and they’re looking to significantly streamline their processes and introduce one system that’s used by the whole group. In addition to this, they are also bringing their HR/payroll system in-house.

As such, our client is looking for a Business Change Manager to join them on a contract until December 2019 and oversee this system transformation, from initial bid and tender process to completion.

The Role

As the Business Change Manager, you will oversee our client’s ambitious system change project, from initial selection through to completion.

In this vital role, you’ll support our client’s move from four separate finance systems to one system that will be used by the entire group.

The other key aspect of your role will involve helping to bring our client’s HR/payroll system in-house. This new system will be selected by the HR Director and will benefit staff across the organisation.

Specifically, you will:

- Write the tender, review proposals and support the system selection process

- Facilitate decision-making and effectively manage stakeholders

- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams

- Engage with colleagues across the organisation, ensuring they are up-to-date with new changes

- Ensure that adequate support is in place, both during and after systems go-live

About You

To be considered as a Business Change Manager, you will need:

- Change and/or transformation experience in a large organisation, ideally including systems

- Experience of managing the bid and/or tender process from the client side

- A track record of managing stakeholders

- Previous finance knowledge

Our client is eager to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Business Change Manager, Business Transformation Manager, Business Change Lead, Change Project Manager, Operations Improvement Manager or Transformation Programme Manager.

The Benefits

- Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 pro rata

- Stakeholder pension scheme and BUPA private medical insurance

- Life assurance worth three times your annual salary

- Flexible working

- Salary sacrifice scheme

- Annual Learning at Work day

- Free membership of the Institution and professional membership subscription for employees

- 26 days’ holiday pro rata

This is an amazing opportunity to make a tangible, lasting difference in a leading organisation and transform the way our client operates for the better.

You will have the chance to collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and make a real impact during your contract.

Once you join the team, you’ll discover that they’re dedicated to making their employees’ working life as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts and will receive a range of benefits to support a healthy work-life balance.

Interviews will be held on an ad-hoc basis as suitable applicants apply. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Our client regrets that they are unable to reply to each applicant; therefore, if you do not hear from them within 28 days of the closing date for this post you should assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
