QA Test Engineer London to £55k

QA Test Engineer (Automation Linux SQL OOP Java C#). Want to work as part of a small, collaborative team where you can make an impact and gain valuable knowledge of financial markets?

Successful financial software house that produces an innovative platform offering complex real-time finance information to global investment firms is seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer. Partnering with Product Owners, Product Managers and the Development Team you will help build and maintain automated testing solutions, ensuring the quality of the product as well as the test framework as it evolves.

Key responsibilities as QA Test Engineer will include analysing and identifying key areas of automation using development skills, data manipulation and scripting; you'll undertake automated, functional and non-functional testing and support current automation tools such as functional FIX protocol testing using VeriFIX; functional testing using Selenium WebDriver; functional testing of web services using SOAP UI / Postman and performance testing using Gatling.

This QA Test Engineer role presents an excellent opportunity to learn about financial markets and gain valuable experience. You'll be based in the City, friendly and professional environment.

Requirements:

*Strong Test Automation experience

*Good knowledge of SQL

*Command line knowledge of UNIX / Linux

*Good knowledge of at least one OO programming language - Java or C# preferred

*Collaborative with excellent communication skills

*Nice to have: Selenium, SOAP UI, Postman, Gatling, JMeter
