IT Support Engineer - MCP

Exeter, Devon (Office/field based, covering the South West)

Up to £25,000 Plus Mobile Phone, Private Health Care, Pension Scheme, Use of Pool Car for Travel, Discounted Gym Membership (after six months)

Our client provides a range of IT support services and solutions to their customers. They are now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support service to both external clients and internal staff.

Taking charge of tickets, from first level support through to third line technical resolution, you will be involved in project and support activities and implementations. This will include working with Windows Server, Small Business Server and PC operating systems.

You will be working with a wide variety of different clients with an array of support needs and, as such, will be required to undertake some travel to visit clients on occasion.

Additionally, you will be involved in internal projects to maintain and develop our clients’ internal systems.

To be considered for the role of IT Support Engineer, you will need:

- Support experience

- An MCP qualification

Flexible and versatile, as an IT Support Engineer, you will also be client-oriented, approachable and self-motivated. Strong listening skills will also be key, as would the ability to mentor staff and problem solve effectively.
